What is a Dividend Growth Investor?

Investors who follow a strategy of buying and holding stocks of companies who annually increase their dividend payments to shareholders are sometimes referred to as dividend growth investors. They look for solid companies with a good history of paying out higher dividends year after year. The dividend growth strategy is followed because it is believed by the investor to be the best plan that will help them reach their financial goals.
